Year 6 finally had the opportunity to visit Dobroyd Castle for their long awaited residential to Robinwood. We had an amazing weekend and were very lucky with the weather: some beautiful sunshine of Friday when we were all on the lake and only a little bit of drizzle on Sunday.
The children were an absolute pleasure all weekend. They were so supportive, polite, kind and had such a positive attitude towards all of the different challenges: flying through the air on the zip wire or giant swing, trying to stay afloat on the freezing cold lake in their rafts and canoes, and working together to escape the room before the Pirahnas were released into the pool!
