Twenty Whingate children play international chess against Rachel Reeves MP and Malcolm Pein, an international Chess Master
Children in Need celebrations were interupted briefly for twenty of Whingate's pupils as they took up a chess challenge and played brilliantly against Rachel Reeves, our local MP and Malcolm Pein who is an international chess master. The games were played at school on Thursday 16th November and showed how well the children have been taught in their chess lessons by Mr Schofield and the progress that they have made.
