This week, we were lucky to have an author, Mark Lowery, visit Whingate!

This week, we were lucky to have an author visit Whingate! Mark Lowery, who has won 'The Leeds' Book Awards' and has been shortlisted for the 'Roald Dahl Funny Prize', spent the day at Whingate, speaking to our children on how to become better writers. He inspired everyone with his two assemblies, and Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in a writing workshop led by Mark himself.
