Mathletics Numeracy Challenge Day 424 November 2016 (by CAROL NEWTON (newtoncr01)) |
We now have all 8 KS2 classes on the UK leaderboard for the week! We also smashed our way through one million points earned in just 4 days!
The word for today is most definitely 'proud'! We are so proud of all our children and their pride in themselves has been very evident today as they have come to us excitedly to tell us how they are doing in the competition! I have spoken to a huge number of children about their achievements today and it has been so great to hear.
You can see the UK leaderboard for the whole week by following the link to the Hall of Fame below, but today's in-school results are as follows:
1st: 6H - 2434 points
2nd: 6W - 2009 points
3rd: 3R - 1853 points
4th: 5D - 1821 points
5th: 4W - 1044 points
6th: 5S - 938 points
7th: 3L - 820 points
8th: 4H - 486 points
6H, the treat tin will be with you in the morning; don't let Mr Hunter snaffle them all!
Congratulations to the following children who finished the day amongst the UK's top 100 Mathletes:
Amylee B, Owen B, Ruby S, Amy S, Janik P, Lewis P and Haider A.
What a fantastic achievement! You, along with Kaydon C, Harry N, Jayson N, Euan S, Maya F, Ahmed M and Liam W (who are all in the overall school top 10 for the week), can join me and Mrs Gatenby in the ICT suite at lunchtime tomorrow if you would like to!
Hopefully we will see someone beat Y6 tomorrow!
